Soap is a hygiene product that we use several times a week and lately it no longer has the quality it had before, which causes the clothes to have certain stains, a different color, and somewhat damaged fabric.

For this very reason, we bring you this article so that you can make your own soap at home, with few ingredients and excellent quality. To make it perfect, I recommend that you carefully read the following steps.

For this homemade lemon soap, you will need:

50 ml. of Alcohol

10 tbsp. of Common Sugar

6 tbsp. of Powdered Soap

Grated zest of 3 lemons

50 ml. of Alcohol Vinegar

Preparation

To begin, pour the liter of water into a pot and bring it to a boil along with the lemon peels. Once it starts boiling, leave it for about 5 minutes so that the water absorbs all the aroma.

In the meantime, grate the 2 bars of soap.

After 5 minutes, remove the lemon peels from the water, lower the heat, and gradually add the grated soap. It’s important to stir while adding the grated soap to mix it perfectly, although it might take a while to melt completely, so patience is key. After 20 minutes, add the powdered soap and continue mixing.

Once the powdered soap has dissolved, incorporate the 10 tablespoons of sugar without stopping stirring.

Finally, add the alcohol and vinegar. At this step, you can add a dye of your choice, I recommend yellow or green.

Turn off the heat and pour the mixture into a soap mold or any container you have on hand. After 6 hours, you can cut and shape it as you like.

Important: Before using the soap, let it rest for about 5 days to be completely cured.

And that’s it! You can now use your homemade lemon soap. Try it with any type of clothing, whether black or colored.
