Preparation:

To begin, pour one liter of water into a pot and bring it to a boil together with the lemon peels. After it starts boiling, let it simmer for about 5 minutes, so the water absorbs all the aroma.
Meanwhile, grate the 2 bars of soap.
After 5 minutes, remove the lemon peels from the water, reduce the heat, and gradually add the grated soap. It is important to stir while adding the grated soap to combine it perfectly, although it may take some time to completely melt, so patience is key.
After 20 minutes, add the powdered soap and continue stirring.
Once the powdered soap has dissolved, incorporate the 10 tablespoons of sugar without stopping stirring.
Finally, add the alcohol and vinegar. At this step, you can add a colorant of your choice, yellow or green is recommended.
Turn off the heat and pour the mixture into a soap mold or any container you have on hand. After 6 hours, you can cut and shape the soap as you like.
Important: Before using the soap, let it rest for about 5 days to be completely cured.
And there you have it! Now you can use your handmade lemon soap. Try it with any type of clothing, whether black or colored.
