Kentucky Fried Butter Cake

Required ingredients:

To prepare the cake:

3 cups of all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup soft unsalted butter

2 cups of granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 cup of butter

For the butter glaze:

 

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup of water

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

To prepare the butter sauce:

 

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup of water

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

Step 1: start by preheating oven 325°F (160°C). Grease a 10-inch baking tray with flour also coat it well, ensuring that all cracks are cover.

Step 2: To preparing cake mix, mixing flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. sit aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the soft butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light also fluffy.

Step 3: Adding eggs gradually, whisk well after each addition. Incorporate the vanilla extract. Add the curd and dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately in small portions, starting and ending with the dry mixture.

Step 4: Scoop batter to the prepared bouquet tray, and smooth the top with a spoon. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, and the top is golden brown with  cracks.
